M2 - more than just a travel management system

M2 is an easy, fast and efficient solution to manage travel and cost expences. With M2 you can simplify and optimize your travel and expence management process considerably. It combines versatile features, excellent usability and polished graphic appearance into one high quality product. M2 accelerates and automates all processes of handling travel and expense costs. It speeds up the routines involved in internal billing and decreases possible mistakes. M2 covers the whole process of expence management; from a travel plan to payments and bookkeeping entries.

A calendar-based interface is intuitive and easy to use. In addition to compile a travel expense claim according to drivers’ log, the system can handle travel plans and it includes a kilometre expense claim function as well as extensive expense claim functions. The software calculates e.g. daily allowances and updates currencies. In M2 it is possible to import transactions of the most important travel agencies and credit card companies automatically which minimizes the need to record this information manually. It is possible to have several approval and review levels for the claims. Approved claims are imported to a pay system and finally to bookkeeping. The claims are automatically posted and electronically archived. It is possible to print out extensive and versatile reports for both the company’s internal needs and for e.g. Tax Authorities. With interfaces it is possible to easily connect M2 to any other financial administration system and diversify customers’ current solutions.

The system has a very strong position in Finland; M2 is used by hundreds of organizations and it is a market leader in Finland. The system is multilingual and it is used e.g. in many European countries. M2 system is used by approximately twenty accounting companies and other service providers.

The system can be delivered to the customer either according to a licence or as SaaS service (Software as a Service), i.e. software leasing. Most of the customers, about 90%, utilize SaaS service: the software is used in Internet through a web-based interface. Thus, the system can be used almost everywhere and whenever – always when the user has an Internet connection and a web browser. M2 is an authentic, web-based software which does not need any other software but a web browser.

The service provider takes care of maintenance, up-dates and data protection of the server. In addition to maintenance, the service includes implementation and IT support.

NEW: M2 can also be connected to R2T software which runs in mobile phones: mileage claims are then generated almost automatically.
